Wellnesse Launches Toothpaste in a Compostable Tube

The toothpaste is glycerin-free and fluoride-free -- and the tube is made from sugarcane bioplastic.

Wellnesse has launched a new ‘clean’ toothpaste, Wellnesse Whitening Toothpaste — and it’s in a compostable tube, made from sugarcane bioplastic.

The tube is recyclable, and also compostable, the brand says.

Wellnesse Whitening Toothpaste in Fresh Mint is made with calcium carbonate, peppermint, stevia leaf, and green tea leaf extract. It is glycerin-free and fluoride-free.

Wellnesse was founded by ‘Wellness Mama’ podcaster Katie Wells, and the brand focuses on ‘clean’ formulas. The toothpaste began as one of her most popular DIY recipes.
